WHAT IS TABLETENNISDAILY SUPER LEAGUE?

TableTennisDaily Super League (TTDSL) is a new and exciting table tennis league hosted in the UK at Cardiff City Table Tennis club.

The league has been created to showcase high level table tennis on the internet in a unique, intimate and engaging way through the TableTennisDaily YouTube channel. The league consists of 8 specially invited and selected teams who will compete over the the course of 7 rounds with each team playing each other once.
The teams include some of the UK’s top clubs and players including multiple male and female internationals as well as a number of Paralympian’s. Although all matches will be recorded the majority of the league will be showcased via the TableTennisDaily Team YouTube series which documents the TTD Team’s progress through the course of the league season.
The TTD Team series attracts over 100,000 viewers per episode on average with some episodes hitting over 300,000 views. The TTDSL aims to attract even more viewers through the increased standard of play and greatly increased production quality.
The teams competing in the TTDSL are as follows: TTD Team, The Fusion Strikers, Cardiff TTC, The University Of Nottingham, The One Direction Team, The Super Vetts, Peterborough TTC, Team EBATT.
Each team brings their own unique style for instance the one direction team features fan favourites from Season 1 of the TTD Team series such as Dan Moses. The aptly named Super Vetts team is entirely made up of some the best over 40’s players in the UK such as Mike O’Driscoll and Jason Ramage.
International stars competing in TTDSL include England’s David McBeath and Chris Doran as well as Welsh internationals Charlotte Carey, Callum Evans and Anna Hursey. Paralympians include Will Bayley, Aaron McKibbon and Billy Shilton.
The TTD Team line up has been strengthened with the addition of England Junior Louis “The Beast” Price and former Danish Junior number one Daniel “The Dane” Simonsen and Rio 2016 gold medalist Will Bayley. Unfortunately fan favourite Christoph Zickert aka the German will not be competing this year to professional commitments.
The league will be played over the course of two weekends starting on the 3rd July and finishing on the 15th August. The first episode of the TTD Team’s journey in the TTDSL will be aired via the TableTennisDaily YouTube Channel July 19th.
